We offer an expert range of massage therapies such as Sports, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage therapies in the Horley/Crawley area of Surrey.
Sports Massage helps to alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity, either due to overexertion and/or overuse. Sports massage can break the tension down quickly and effectively.
This treatment is not just for the sports person, anyone can benefit from Sports Massage, including people in physically demanding jobs and those not quite so obvious -(occupational, emotional and postural stress may produce many similar characteristics to sports injuries).
Sports Massage tends to be deeper and more intense than other massage and incorporates a combination of other techniques involving stretching, compression, friction, toning, and trigger point techniques.
• Increases range of movement & flexibility
• Increases blood circulation, helping tissue repair & removing waste products
• Eases muscular aches & pains
• Speeds up recovery time post injury, and reduces the risk of reinjury
Swedish massage is a combination of techniques including gentle stretching and mobilising of skeletal muscle, joints and soft tissue. Techniques applied gradually aim to increase flexibility and mobility, as well as circulation to and from the tissues.
This improves the elimination of toxins and waste products, leaving the muscles feeling refreshed, revitalised and deeply relaxed. This massage can be tailored to what you need from the treatment, whether it be relaxing or energising, in order to improve your overall well-being.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses a range of specialised and gentle, very light rhythmic pumping techniques, to move the excess fluid from an area with an abnormal build-up of a fluid, called lymph, in the body tissues. This stimulates the lymphatic vessels and helps move excess fluid away from the swollen area, so that it can drain away normally. This helps to reduce the pain, aids relaxation, and positively affects the immune system.

Treatments have helped me change my life around so much. I am no longer dependent on painkillers, I am able to practice pilates again, and certainly know where to come back with any issues in the future.Mrs Stevenson, Surrey
I am grateful to the osteopaths that helped me with my lower back, it seized whilst I was moving a pot plant and I was terrified I would have to take a lot of time off work. But the osteopaths understanding, reassurance and treatments helped to get me back to me!Mr. Mitchell, West Sussex
I brought my son in the Carlton Clinic at 6 weeks old for Cranial Osteopathy as he was very unsettled and often seemed uncomfortable. I am very glad and relieved to say I now have a very pleasant, happy little boy.Miss Jacob, West Sussex
