Emily Horsley
M.Ost Registered Osteopath
Emily completed her Integrated Masters Degree at the University College of Osteopathy, graduating with Distinction.
Owing to her background in equine sports, Emily appreciates the demands of competitive and high-risk activities on the body. She is proficient in injury management and endeavours to formulate individualised treatment plans, considering her patients’ specific goals and aspirations.
During her undergraduate training, Emily worked with patients living with HIV at the Blanchard Clinic run by her university. She furthered her understanding of the condition and its management at an additional placement in a specialised multidisciplinary clinic at the Royal Free Hospital in London. There, she worked as part of the NHS team supporting patients, many of whom were experiencing chronic pain.
Emily enjoys working with patients of all ages and is passionate about promoting physical and mental wellbeing. Alongside her clinical work, she is in the process of publishing a research paper concerning the effects of osteopathy on anxiety.
Emily uses structural, cranial, and visceral osteopathy alongside exercise rehabilitation and functional techniques to address symptoms holistically, in partnership with her patients.
