Areeba Qureshi
Physiotherapist – BSC Biomedical Sciences, MSc Rehabilitation Science
Areeba has been working as a chartered physiotherapist in the NHS and private sector since 2009. She graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Surrey, Roehampton and followed this with a Masters in Rehabilitation Science at the University of Brighton, with the license to practice physiotherapy.
Areeba has worked in many different settings within her physiotherapy career providing her with in-depth experience and specialist skills to assess and treat a wide range of injuries with a hands-on and self-management approach. Areeba has an extensive history of working with the elderly population to prevent admissions, reduce falls and work in a holistic way to improve balance, strength and reduce levels of pain.
Areeba is also a Fitbacks and Bumps instructor whereby she educates both pre and postnatal women to exercise safely and assess and treat conditions related to pregnancy and childbirth.
Areeba regularly attends training to ensure she is up to date with her professional development and able to incorporate the latest techniques and technology along with traditional methods of physiotherapy when providing treatment to her clients.
